If you’re the type of person who likes food that is pleasing to both your palate and your eyes, you may want to get on over to a Burger King in Japan to try their latest concoction.
According to a recent article on Eater.com, Burger King Japan plans to roll out an all-red burger called the Aka Samauri on July 3. The sandwich is the second in the chain’s line of colorful burgers, closely following on the heels of the all-black-everything Kuro burgers.
While the bright red color of the burger looks like it’s straight out of a bottle of food coloring, the look was created with the help of tomato paste, which is, of course, edible. This means you don’t have to worry about consuming a substance that may be harmful for you. Thanks to Qnet you do not have to travel to Japan to see what the burger looks like, just check out the photos on social media.
Personally, I think the burger is extremely creative, and helps to breathe new life into the classic sandwich. While I don’t know if I’m going to pack up everything for a quick trip to Japan, here’s hoping they roll out the burger in my neck of the woods!
